RPM Network. HELP

Hey all.

I am a fairly new youtuber and also not a really smart one.
Recently i have been getting some vieuws which caused me to be partnerd by youtube. With this came the contract of RPM (maker studios). Being the lazy person i always am i didn't read the contract carefull enough and now i am bound to this contract for a year.

All this isn't so bad but i have been asked to join a network where a friend of mine is also connected with.
He had great experiences with it so far and now comes the problem.

Is there any way how i could terminate this contract or shorten it in any way?

Once again signing this contract was my own fault and i am now trying to fix it.

You're with RPM until the contract is over. Sorry buddy, this is why you read contracts before signing them.

I am personally an RPM partner, and I can tell you that it is great, so there is little reason to shorten it. I have a video being promoted on their hub in the next few days, I used the royalty free music today, and I am always on the forums. There is very little that I could change about them. If you do want to leave, you will most likely have to wait the entirety of the contract. Open a support ticket here: https://central.makerstudios.com/support/ once you are given access to the dashboard, which should be in the next week or two. It is worth a try if you really want to leave, but it is rare that partners are released early.

A contract is a contract buddy, it isn't broken easily. Be sure to read the whole thing next time before signing something. Signing something while not having read it properly is quite dumb.

Oh god - this is a terrible idea. Luckily you learned your mistake with something trivial like a hobby. There are some companies out there, or situations you can run into where you can get completely boned if you don't read your contract thoroughly. When I got my RPM contract, I scrutinized every god damn line of that thing to make sure I wasn't signing my first unborn away
