Rode Videomic Me worth purchasing?

I shoot my vlogs on my iPhone and am looking to pick up a microphone, I've heard great things about the Rode Videomic Me, but was curious if anyone on here has used it/has an opinion on it?

Probably it is worth it. If you want some cheaper option you can buy BOYA BY-M1. I ordered one, so I am still waiting for it to arrive. Then I will do a review on it. But I hear that both of them Rode and this Boya are good for smartphones. Rode is ~ 3x more expensive so I guess at least 2x better than Boya . Actually, it's worth it.The microphone is really awesome.One of my friends purchased this & I can see the difference.So definitely it will be the best buy!

It sounds like the Røde Videomicro, which is the microphone that I have used for college videos.
The quality is great and the "dead cat" cover makes it really great to record outside.

Not sure if they're exactly the same but I would definitely recommend it!
