video footage shows three daredevils tempting fate by running along the tops of subway cars in New York City.
Action movie-style music plays in the background of the series of clips in which the three men can be seen hopping from car to car as the trains speed through Brooklyn and Queens.
The videos are taken from multiple vantage points both on the ground and on top of the trains.
The account that originally shared the videos, under the name Jack Sutton, has been removed from YouTube for violating the site's community guidelines.
The Smoking Gun reports that the profile included a 'big thanks to @annie.kerner for helping us film'.
In the comments on one of the videos a user wrote: 'I hope you guys fall and die. But I also hope your deaths don't disrupt service.'
Riding on top of the train is expressly prohibited in the Metropolitan Transit Authority's Rules of Conduct.
Violators are subject to criminal prosecution in city court, and can be fined up to $100 and/or sentenced to 10 days in jail.
