Random Squeak Noises in Audio?

I am recording a history video about the Spanish Armada, and I have noticed random short "squeak" noises in the recording. The noise lasts maybe half a second.

This has happened in a few videos. I am using a Blue Yeti mic stood on a table, with a pop filter. The gain is as low as possible, I use the USB it came with and it is on a PC Windows 10.

If anyone more experienced than me can explain what is going on and how to solve it I would appreciate it.

Many thanks!

Hi

It could be something in the room. Make sure there are no fans or electrical equipment close to the microphone. If your microphone has a "cardioid" setting, I'd advise you to use that. You could also use the "noise reduction" feature of audacity to filter it out post-production. More info here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/noise_reduction.html
Hi many thanks for the reply. The PC is about 30cm/1 foot away from the mic when I use it and there are no other electrical equipment near it. I will look in to audacity. Many thanks once again!

Thanks for your help. I asked on the audacity forum and they said it is too small a noise to worry about.
