I am new to this whole Adsense thing and it would be great if someone can explain what Page CTR, CPC, and Page RPM. And what do they mean to me as a YouTuber. It would help me out a lot.

Adsense is like full blown aids, you can live with it, but one slip up that may not be your fault and your dead.

CTR is your Click Through Rate (when an impression is made and that % actually clicks the ad), CPC is Cost Per Click (what the advertisers pay per click), Page RPM is what you receive per 1,000 impressions or clicks.

I'm not sure how this is helpful to the OP...

the correct response is to cry in the fetal position whilst adsense burns on the bun fire, like seriously, its horrible.

In the most general way to explain.
CTR = Clicks / Page Views
CPC: Average cost per click.
RPM: Basically if your CTR stayed nearly constant this would be how much you would make PER 1000 views. (Use this to interpolate/extrapolate how much you're making during that day or time period)

I really recommend that you don't use adsense for your gaming videos. Like Sinc said, it is really risky going through adsense. I have personal experience, and have seen many people's channels get banned from the program. Joining a network is much better. It is not stated in paper, but-while being partnered with a network, you have a really low chance to get banned due to "accidental clicks," or improper content. (After all, it's not the adsense program anymore once you are partnered with a network.) It is almost like an extra safety precaution that I feel is a great perk when partnering with a network. You don't have to worry about things as much, where people in adsense have to be extremely careful. :)
