Promoting a product

when you promote or do a shoutout of a company on your channel?

I’m a music channel, and companies always ask me to promote their product in my videos. Just trying to figure out if I should make viewers aware of a company I’m working with consistently at the end or more towards the intro of my videos.

Anyone have any suggestions?

If you are being paid to promote a product or service or if you were provided products or services in exchange for a review, you are required by YouTube’s terms of service to disclose that information to your viewers. If you are in the United States, you are also required by law via the Federal Trade Commission to disclose this.

In short, if you got something for free OR money in exchange for a review or feature, you absolutely must let your viewers know this.

You should definitely let your viewers know that you’re getting sponsored by that company because if you don’t you will lose your viewers trust and by law if that company is paying you to advertise for them you have to let them know in the beginning and in the and in your discriptions!
