I have setup a video streaming system for the local church so that they can stream services now that all churches are closed as a result of Covid-19. This works OK but I have two issues.
One is that when there is a live stream the message on accessing the page where it is embedded shows an error and says Use YouTube to view - click on that and the stream starts up.
The second is when thee is no live stream on pressing the Play icon - the message then is
An error occurred. Please try again later. (Playback ID: rXPzTqq1iZkzGgin)

How can I show options to display choices - Live (if available) and past services when someone selects the link? For example - this church does this - https://lusschurch.com/stream.html
The test web page I am using on the Wordpress site I manage is at https://www.stbeespriory.org.uk/service-test/

Sorry - a big ask but I am trying to help the community and I am out of my comfort zone when it comes to this!

I just clicked on your test page, and clicked on the play button and the streaming worked fine with no error message.

In case of any future errors, make sure that embedding is enabled for the video in question:

Link to help: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/171780?hl=en (bottom section):

Note: If you’re in YouTube Studio, click Creator Studio Classic in the left menu to follow these steps.
If you've uploaded a video and don't want to allow others to embed your video on external sites, follow these steps:
  1. Go to your Video Manager.
  2. Go to the video you want to turn off embedding for and click Edit.
  3. Under the video, click Advanced settings.
  4. Under "Distribution Options," uncheck the Allow embedding checkbox. (to prevent embedding and check it to allow it)
  5. Click Save changes.

For your question about different options, I'm not sure I understand. That lusschurch link is in fact giving me an error message.
