Prepare a ‘to do list’ before launching your video and set aside enough time to compete that list, YouTube notices sharp upward curves around launch time, so make sure that list includes: share with friends, add to playlist, inbound links (social etc), etc to drive those views in fast. Prepare, Plan & Execute !

You don't have to start out with top of the line equipment. Start with what you have and slowly add new gadgets as you need them.
This is so true, I started out filming on a MacBook.

Make sure to have decent lighting rather it’s natural or artificial make sure your videos are lit up enough to watch

If your video didn't turn out how you wanted but you had fun doing it, still post it.

I've had a lot of fun shooting some videos and go back later and are little things I missed or messed up afterwards, but I still upload it because I was so passionate during making it.

It makes it feel more real when I collect legitimate views.

Try to make your channel different from the other channels so it pops out. Also use good tags and SEO
