One Minute Economics at 600 subs -> they grow up so fast!

On the 5th of July (10 days ago), I posted a threat here on YTTalk to celebrate the 400 subscriber milestone.

Ended up doing very well with one of my videos on Reddit, so before you know it, people were congratulating me for my next milestone (500 subs) in that thread. In fact, my 500th subscriber is a fellow YTTalk member, @ScienceIsFun :)

Today, I'm celebrating the channel's newest milestone, 600 subs!

I don't think One Minute Economics can become a genuinely HUGE channel, as in over a million subs or something along those lines.

On the one hand, I'm sure there are lots of people who would be willing to learn economics if people teach them stuff in an entertaining manner, which is what I try to do with my one-minute animations. On the other hand though, there isn't enough demand for economics-related stuff to make this channel huge. I realize that.

However, I believe setting 50,000 subs as a goal is reasonable.

The channel already gives me a voice. It was frustrating at the beginning, working hard and basically talking to yourself. However, that is no longer the case. People are liking my videos, commenting, some are helping me spread the word. One Minute Economics is gaining traction and this makes me very happy, especially since I've started to come across very articulate people who are interested in discussing economics-related topics in a civilized manner.

I have no idea what the future holds but if I keep working hard, I believe 50,000 subs is something the channel can achieve. Or I'll lose my sanity trying, whatever comes first :)
