Hello everyone from the title you got it right, I want to talk with you guys about the new announcement that came out on Oct 26 titled "Improving the technology behind our monetization icons". I've seen lots of people are asking questions regarding this issue or not clear.

According to the new announcement "This system uses machine learning to apply a green icon (fully monetized) or a yellow icon (limited or no ads) to your videos and offers you the ability to appeal if you think a video is misclassified. Appeals receive a human review and those decisions help the system get smarter over time".

This making difficult for small youtubers like us to grow. Because if their so called "Improved Technology" mark you with yellow icon wrongfully you can't appeal because of the following reasons..
"If your channel has more than 10,000 subscribers, we will review your unlisted video (regardless of view count). If your channel has fewer than 10,000 subscribers, right now we’re only able to review videos with at least 1,000 views in the past 7 days."

In this case we need to support each other. So if someone who is wrongfully penalized please make sure to reach out to each other and help each other to reach the goal. So at least you can appeal... We are in this forum to learn and help each other to grow but now its turning into help each other to survive. lol

Some of you might agree, some of you might not and it's natural. I just wanted to share my thoughts with you guys. Thanks for reading!

Regardless of the circumstances, asking members to check out each other's channels is against the rules at YTtalk. We have a Reviews / Channel feedback forum where active members may ask for feedback (if their review thread follows the forum rules):
http://yttalk.com/forums/reviews-channel-feedback.64/

We also have the Videos and Channels forum where members with the VIP or Videos Access membership may post videos:
http://yttalk.com/forums/videos-channels.9/

More about the VIP membership and Videos / Channels forum can be read here:
http://yttalk.com/threads/vip-memberships-and-forum-cash.14456/

Outside of the videos access forums, YTtalk members may not ask other members to view, or subscribe to their channel, and they may only ask for reviews or specific channel advice in the Reviews / Channel Feedback forum.
