Need help choosing video editing software! (hitfilm4 | MS 13?)

So I'm at a real crossroads right now and need some help! Right now I've just started using Hitfilm 4 express (because free!) and so far so good, a few things are difficult to get done on my videos (ex. adding text) but I'm confident I can learn the software in time! However Steam just put out a very tempting sale on Sonys Movie Studio 13 Platinum for only 26.99! So my big question is spend the money or stick with hitfilm?! Not sure what a huge difference it would make for my editing, but I am looking for ease and speed!

Movie Studio 13 is very good.
It's like the little sibling to Vegas Pro. It costs less, but also has less features.
Still great software, however. I used it for a while before finally getting Vegas Pro

Awesome! Thanks! I can't really afford Vegas Pro but if Movie studio is somewhat similar, it'll probably be worth it!
