We're in the middle of our first web series called Shane in Progress; it's a comedy about two brothers feuding for control of a video blog show called Tim in Progress. (Tim is the older brother who started the show [and it's actually a real show on our channel] but in Shane in Progress, the little brother, Shane, has Tim kidnapped by terrorists and takes over the show.) At this point in the show, we're creating a fan compilation video for fans who are either "Team Tim" or "Team Shane", but there's a small opportunity in this for YouTubers as well.
The original post we made on our facebook page explaining the project is below. The part that's applicable to everyone here is the part about YouTubers. Here it is:
Very soon the war between Tim and Shane Casey will be coming to a head in the Shane In Progress finale. So, that just leaves one very important question: Are you #TeamTim or #TeamShane? Now's your chance to let us know and support your favorite Casey! We'll be creating a special #TeamTim/#TeamShane fan compilation video in advance of the finale featuring YOU! All you have to do is make a short YouTube video stating whether you support Tim or Shane and why, and then send it to our inbox on this page or at our YouTube channel. If you're a YouTuber and want people to know about your channel, we'll allow you to put your URL in the top right corner of your video in plain text.
After we've received all of your video submissions, we'll take them and edit them together to make a fan support video for #TeamTim and #TeamShane. Some rules and reminders:
-No profanity or generally inappropriate or inflammatory language or images
-Videos will be edited for length
-Your video doesn't have to look professional or fancy! It can be just you talking into a camera
-If you're a YouTuber, please keep your URL text simple and don't try to take up the whole screen with it.
-Give us your name or YouTube username along with your state or country when you send us your video link so we can include it in the final video.
-Sending in a video does not guarantee that it will appear in the final cut of the compilation.
-Have fun with it!
*For people who don't like being in front of a camera, you can submit a text explanation of who you support to be included in the final video. Simply comment on this post, submit it to our inbox, or email it to thebarnesbrothers@gmail.com.

Ok, so that's the gist of it. Obviously, you probably haven't seen this web series, but that's fine. You can watch it on our channel to catch up and then you can make your video. (We suggest also watching a few Tim in Progress episodes as well just so you can get a feel for his character since he's not in the series much up to this point.) The reason we're posting this here is because there are some great YouTubers on here who could possibly catch someone's attention while they're watching the compilation video. For that reason, we encourage you guys to make your videos creative and energetic so you can pique someone's interest and get them to follow through and check out your channel.
