My Subscriber count is messed up?

look at the image below, ive checked an online live youtube subscriber count and it says i have 1709 subs but then when i click on my picture it says 2k whats up with that?

probably just hasn't updated. that is a pretty big drop there though. hopefully it's not another mass purge.

YT rounds up on the counter you're talking about. Your actual subscriber count in your dashboard is correct but when you click on the icon in the top left it will round up to the next thousand once you past the mid-way mark. I've been showing 2k since I hit 1,500.

YouTube rounds your subscriber number up to the nearest 1K when you look at your subscriber number in the upper-right corner.
