Music Cover can it be monetize?

Ok I just made a music cover using my keyboard for Shingeki no Kyojin first opening Guren no Yumiya, and i have the music really low in the background, the keyboard sounds louder. Can that be monetize? or is it better not to monetize it :) Thanks.
 
Everything about/in a song is copyrighted so the answer is a no. You can't monetize it without specific rights from the Record Label allowing such use.

Thanks :) I wondered since I have seen a few musicians around that make cover and it's the first time I do a cover

And sorry for posting it on the wrong section my bad.
 
You cannot monetize it without consent from the original artist, parodies (by the legal definition), or sometimes it can be considered fair use if you recreate the entire thing and do not play any audio from the original. This is debatable and can lead to strikes though.
