Monitoring for Possible Review

Today I just got notification from YouTube that they need more information to verify that I own all rights to 3 different videos that I had monetized over a year ago. It's been a full year of me collected revenue, and now they want more info? They turned the ads off this morning until they get it, and the funny thing is I own everything...all content. This is so annoying.

Has anyone run into this issue? It makes no sense.

Yes.. Have dealt with that before..
The only way it stopped happening was that I started listing everythign in the description where the musci came from where the graphics came from.. Since I started doing that it stopped happening. But it is annoying.

Yeah, you might be right about that. Two out of three videos didn't have the info in the description which may be the reason, but I'm not sure why the 3rd one got flagged. I think it's their software, but I find the whole thing odd that they wait so long to flag it, especially since it's been collected revenue all along.

Same here. This morning I got the same thing for about 7 of my videos...so annoying seeing that it takes them like a year to even review it again to monetize it back

Yes that is dumb.. unless someone is being an a**e and flagged you.

Wow, so I'm not the only one. They must have hit a bunch of people at once then this morning. So annoying.[DOUBLEPOST=1381502730,1381502626][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah, that can be the case too, who knows...oh well, just need to wait to see. I responded to their info, so I hope they just turn it back on and I can be done with it.

This is started after they updated that icon, privacy icons and monetization review setting, 10 videos of my friend is demonetized today which was there from last 6 months. I think its happening with too many youtubers other than those who are partnered with network.

I heard from a couple of channels that received emails from YouTube detailing over 50 videos having monetization removed in this fashion. The videos had been montized for well over 6 months each and all of a sudden it's removed. Unsure at this time what is going on. At the moment it seems to only be Adsense partners who are experiencing it.

Yeah, something is up. I just got a new email from youtube a few minutes ago and now they permanently disabled ads on one of the videos and told me "The content in your video and/or the metadata may not be advertiser-friendly. As a result, your video is not being monetized.". Why was it a copyright issue before, but now it's not advestiser-friendly? I have no way to appeal it, it's just disabled.
