Monetize images from apps for Tutorials?

Hi
I have a question regarding monetization.
I have a new channel where I have tutorials and answers for mobile games and apps. Mostly I use still images and screenshots from the apps to show what I'm doing. I have not turned on monetization for any of my videos yet with the fear of getting a copyright warning, but I have seen loads of other youtubers monetize their videos that are very similar.

Do you think it would be okey to turn on monetization or should I join a network before? But I have heard that networks doesn't help much in that department.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I don't know the deal with mobile apps, but I use a lot of equipment and software for music production, make tutorials about it and monetize those without any problems.

Just like any software visuals on YouTube, you are free to monetize it as long as the video is providing instructional or educational value. (i.e. with step by step commentary showing people how to use it).

So based on what you have told us, you should be within your rights to do this.

I review some iphone apps, and I show the actual app as I use it etc - I always monetize the videos and have never had any problems.
