This is a perfect example of the problem with Youtube and their complete failure to control their platform. This channel is part of a huge fraud being ran by a group running a so called company called MKTD or Lor Media. They claim to be based in the United States, but they are from Vietnam. They steal content and every time they get shut down, they open up another channel with instant views. This is an absolute abuse of the system and these people behind this should be criminally prosecuted. This is the problem with Youtube allowing people from countries that have inadequate governments to create channels and make money. There is no one to protect these kids because Vietnam law enforcement is utterly incompetent and corrupt. It has been over a week since reporting this to Youtube and nothing has been done. I wish I had the ability to indict these people and hold them accountable. It appears to be connected to a person claiming to be named Mark Palow. This person appears to be heavily involved in the operation, https://www.facebook.com/xuongrong.hoa.1. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRgfJSpWm-HpvaXHLzfKDuw was terminated by Youtube. You see how popular this channel was at one time here https://tz.youtubers.me/mark-palow/youtuber-stats/en

Update... This appears to be associated to some phishing emails that resulted in some kid Youtube accounts being hacked. Either way, Youtube needs to wake up and hire some people that can police their platform.

The more I look at this, this may be part of some type of hacking of youtube accounts.

Breathe deep... Ok... Now relax. I'd say most of the views are from paid advertisement... At a guess. Also they are tier 3 rate views so they would not be collecting the revenue you estimate... And that new channel is targeting Thailand by the looks. I wouldn't blame the country of the poster for this... Or am I missing something?

some days ago i put one of my videos which gained lots of views from kid video "as for kids", it fell really hard, then i put it back to "not for kids" and the views is going up again... even revenue... so maybe, things are going to adjust by themself over the time...

Because of my videos are "how-to / DIY (For Dolls) " videos, I have right to mark "non for kids" or "for kids".

"For kids" are currently marked in my videos.

Income is very low. The number of views is low - average.

If I mark "Non for kids", the income may increase but the number of views may decrease.

I can't decide what to do. I am curious about your comments.

Paid advertisement? The lowest you can pay with google ads is .01 per view. Just 5 million paid views is $50,000 USD. You can't pay for views any other way and be in compliance with Youtube policy. I don't necessarily blame any government for the poster of this, I am just commenting on the fact that many countries have ineffective regulation and thus enable certain abusive behavior like this. I honestly worry for the well being of the many children seen in the large collection of videos posted by these people.

Just look at these thumbnails, I mean come on. They post the same content on several channels and post sometimes over 20 videos a day on one channel. Youtube just ignores it.

By the way, in turkey we pay .01 turkish lira per 1 view. It's nearly 1/6 of 0.01 usd. With this info, they might pay 1/30 of 0.01 usd per view in taiwan. But i don't think that all their views are from google ads. But some of them may be.

All my videos are marked for kids - views are about normal, maybe slightly lower. But pretty much bang on for January. Revenue is still low, however - about a 1/3 of December. Still, it’s hard to know how much of this is just down to January RPM being so poor anyway.

I must admit, “marked for kids” videos are a real pain as a viewer - when browsing YouTube, I’ve come across loads of videos that have been incorrectly marked. The lack of a mini player is just bizarre also - why?!

The bigger issue here is that whilst watching one of these “kids” videos, YouTube suggests you download the YouTube Kids app. But none of these videos even show up on the app!

This whole thing is a total mess.

I navigate Youtube in a private browser to test the placement of my videos in the search rankings, so I can adjust the SEO to get them to rank higher. I have noticed that every time I go to youtube in a private browser now, I get a pop up asking if I want to try out YT Kids. So they are pushing it.
