making responce videos to other youtubers

I used to do this ages ago and enjoyed it. So howvfair does fairuse go when doing responce videos? Sort of like debating peoples ideas?

People do it all of the time, so I would think it would be okay...

It's usually okay, though some people have networks that will claim videos for using any part of their member's footage. And then some people can't take criticism and will claim, themselves.
