Looking for a Free Video Editor to get started

Then I definitely recommend VSDC, its very easy to use and you can do a lot more than any other video editing.

I actually downloaded it, but haven't really tried it yet so I'll give it a whirl. I imagine there's some good tutorials online somewhere

If all you have is a regular PC, YouTube has its own built in editor. You could ude that. If you have a PS4 SHAREFactory is a great start

I use Blender to edit my videos. It is free, has transitions and such, but it is also a 3d graphics software so it might not be for you. I haven't had any problems yet though.

I have heard that Lightworks is another good alternative although I haven't used it myself. It was one that was recommended to me.
