Lights for unboxing studio

Hi I have been experimenting with doing some reviews of gadgets, but seems not to get the lighting right. It a combination of talking head and table top recordings.

Now I'm consider investing in a light setup, but there are too many options, sizes, and power levels so I need some advice where to start.

What would be a good budget softbox setup?

I do tech reviews as well I'd suggest a set of 3 lights..one of which is on a boom to point directly down on your subject
