Lighting (Shiny)

Is it ok for your face to look "Shiny"? At first I thought it wasn't but as I watch more and more YouTube lighting tutorials everyone appears to be that way.

Everyone uses Ringlights now, I don't see a problem with it. As long as it is good quality and you are gaining views keep it that way.

I have a ring light that I use sometimes and I also have soft boxes I use. I feel like as long as the lighting looks good it does't matter a ton that you're shiny. Try moving the light further away from you though because that can sometimes reduce the amount of shine. Hope that helps!
