To be honest, I think it's best to focus on your own channel and make sure you're doing what you can on there before hitting up other people for collabs. If you don't already have a little bit of presence, its harder to drive attention to a collab channel. BUT, if you do, you'll get some experience and hopefully have fun so good luck either way.
