Sorry to bump this thread, but I've been with RPM/Socialblade for a long time - a year in September and I've been quite disappointed so far.
I wouldn't advice YouTubers to rush into joining a network, other networks out there such as TGN that offer a lot more in terms of support and growth potential for new YouTubers.
With RPM you are given access to Audiomicro which is quite nice. But other than that I have been extremely disappointed with the support and that is one of the reasons why I want to leave.
I find that if you have rep on a network - or just someone to guide you through what you are doing and what you should do, you'll do a lot better.
If you're a comedian of some sort or any make other content that isn't gaming - realistically you should be looking to monetize with YouTube itself rather than a network (simply as you would be making a lot more) but for gamers, or those that preview game content, you need a network.
I'm currently getting screwed over, I submitted a ticket asking for details on how exactly I would go about leaving at the end of my contract.
I didn't want to ask this at the end of my contract as I thought that may be used as an excuse not to let me leave and extend my contract over.
Regardless, its been two weeks now and I still have not got a reply.
I just think that the features RPM offer (the majority of them) - such as the Spotlight and the support staff that initially promise to 'guide you through your YouTube career' is a load of crap.
If you do join RPM you'll be locked into a contract and when it does come to leaving, it's not the easiest thing in the world to do! I hear that the new contract is two years in length, why you can join and leave some networks - such as TGN - with a 30 day notice?
I am personally applying for Fullscreen once and IF I manage to leave RPM.
