I want to do a Giveaway ...

I want to do a giveaway as soon as I reach 1000 subscribers. What advice do you guys have in regarding this. Like how can I do a giveaway that will possibly lead to getting more subscribers? What should be the rules i set for people to enter?
 
Just note that some people will subscribe to you because of the giveaway, and when they don't win they most likely will unsubscribe..

I held a giveaway once when I reached 100 subscribers, and I had people pick a number 1-100 and when I did the give away I used a randomizer app on my phone so it was completely fair.
 
I am holding a giveaway on my channel at the moment. To enter you have to subscribe and comment on the video, but I would not find it that bad if people unsubscribed after the winner video. It happens all the time and you can never stop it.

Like KGATV said, using a site like Random.org or letting people pick a number is completely fair.
