Most Lawyers aren't YouTubers Experts. -.-
Very true; yet any lawyer whose speciality is Intellectual Property would be able to give you advice in the most hotly contested YouTube areas; Copyright and Trademark.

That said; the number of forum members of YTTalk who are simultaneously badge-bearing YouTube Experts, is a small percentage of the total. As we must necessarily divide our time between the official forum and here, your best chance of catching one of us is the official YouTube Help Forum.

I'd like to remind you at this point that several once popular YouTube "video niches" (including extreme challenges, gaming in the area of 'online casino gambling', extreme political conservatism and firearms) have now been declared either officially, or by mass demonetizaton and channel termination examples, unwelcome or off-limits by YouTube Admin.

With YouTube's niche stability currently as uncertain as it is, you need to ask yourself if this is the right time to attempt to introduce a new sub-genre of comedy which might not be acceptable to YouTube's Review Teams.

Wait, why are firearms banned from YouTube? I don't see anything wrong with gun videos on YouTube, is this just another way they are showing us that YouTube should be a leftist platform?

Because YouTube decided they wanted to ban them. Their platform, their rules. And yes, YouTube is a blatantly leftist platform. Welcome to the real world.

Only "certain types" of firearms videos have been banned. See the link to the relevant policy below.
I didn't say they banned them all, I just pointed out that YouTube can, and does ban things for whatever arbitrary politically-motivated reasons they want and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

A mass deletion of channels and videos would probably drive many people to another, any, platform even a small one. People have combined youtubing with profit, so, just demonetizing does not send them away but simply discourage them as there are not many popular alternatives to put their videos, plus, many creators and their work are on Youtube for ages. Even if a candidate creator turn to viewer this is still profit for Youtube. If one have to take legal advice on Youtubing there is something wrong in the whole process. I don't believe that Youtube have political opinion left or right, they just follow the money and guess that they use Google data to keep on top of people,s opinions and voices.

True; but if you take a look at the official Help Forum, you will see that channel terminations are also increasing slowly; and some users, when they are either repeatedly denied YPP membership and monetization, or get tired of the delay for initial channel review, are indeed leaving the platform.

One of the problems with the users who get impatient, is the mistaken mindset that reaching the review threshold means that they actually will be monetized. I keep seeing threads titled "Why is my monetization not enabled" as though the poster has decided that since they have 1000 subs and 4000 watch time hours, monetization should automatically start; and within days of reaching the review threshold at that.

I am doing my part to disabuse people of this mistaken notion, unlike the "Official YouTube Helpers" with YT in front of their IDs. All the above do, is spout off the latest YouTube pacification attempt and then duplicate the complainant's thread to the official "update" thread, instead of telling them something which might make them think. Here is what I am telling these users, and how.

"Things you must understand.

Reaching 1000 subscribers, and 4000 watch time hours does not entitle a YouTube channel to monetization. It only entitles that channel to be reviewed for eligibility to join the YouTube Partner Program; and monetize videos if accepted as a member channel.

Neither YPP membership acceptance, nor the ability to monetize content is guaranteed by reaching this threshold. If you are under review, you must wait for the result of that review. No one here can either review your channel or monetize it."
