Huge differences between estimated earnings and actual earnings?

I've Got It
Hey guys, how much of a difference is there between estimated earnings and your actual earnings? I know it's just "Estimated earnings" but I figured I'd make more than 1/4th of my estimated earnings..

Ive noticed a fair difference as well when checking my earnings in Adsense, and then what I actually get paid. It never used to be like this before they decided to change Adsense so you had to use YouTube instead!! Previously it was much more accurate.

Yeah I have posted something about this before. But I am having the same issue for about 2-3 months now. It’s something new. After the huge ''earnings'' update from YouTube back in June they started counting the earnings really weird. For the last 2 months I received almost 60% less money than what my estimated earnings was. The different was huge. It’s really a shame to see YouTube change s**t and not let anyone know not even networks. It’s clear that YouTube changed something in the way they audit earnings at the end of the month which is now causing this huge differences.

But like I said before YouTube can do anything they want and no one can do anything about it because you cannot contact YouTube and when complain to your network about it they just say its YouTube auditing earnings.

Well, estimated is really a projected number, as actual is real earnings. I wasn't aware that YouTube gives you earnings numbers, but it definitely is an interesting concept. So is it based off of how well your channel does, or do you have to be a partner with a company?
