this is honestly the worse thing you can do for your channel is sub 4 sub dont recommend it as I did it on my gaming channel back then. just let people naturally come to your channel and have them subscribe bc they truly like your content. just some advice
 
Just started it! Six videos and 2 weeks later, I have 27 subscribers. I do piano channel! I am trying to utilize SEO by optimizing search and covering trending songs but it’s hard haha.
 
Lately It's going better than ever. YouTube started putting my most watched video on people's home pages and everything is just taking off. I don't know if it will sustain this level, but it's fun at the moment! Other than that, my channel was experiencing sustained (but not dramatic) growth.
 
Not much different from last year. I've had it for almost a year now. I got 1000 subscribers in 2 months, and then it's just kinda slowed a bit from there. It's 10 months old now and I'm at 4000. I'm happy with it. But I do hope it'll grow a bit more soon
 
Mine sucks!! I finally started posting more consistently, picked up my first 1k subs. And all of the sudden you tube took away thousands of views from my videos in the last couple of weeks! It sucks!, I was so close to 4K hours of view time. It’s really discouraging...
 
SO far 2019 has been very good for my channel.
I should hit my 10K sub goal in May!
Revenue is UP!
Watch time is up 24%
Views are up 31%
Subs are up 73%
 
I've tried posting every week and not grown very much I have just 100 subs and over 2000 views which I'm very proud of but I haven't seen much growth.
 
My year has been pretty slow so far. I uploaded twice a week for about 3 weeks and saw quite an influx in subs (about 10 in a month), but I couldn't keep up the schedule and am back to about half that now. Still encouraging to see at least some growth, cause I've been stuck around 200 subs for a long time xD My best performing videos are still about England, even though I don't live there anymore and can't make that type of content..
 
It was going pretty well until I got hit with a pretty massive wave of mental health issues and I haven't uploaded in a couple of months while I've been working on getting better. I'm starting to feel a lot more myself though so hopefully things will turn around once again.
