How to rebrand a channel

I stopped uploading and I recently went and checked out my you tube channel. A few of my videos have done ok two have like 1k and one has 20k views. I'm quite shocked by those numbers. But i want my channnel to be about writing. So is it better to start a new channel or just post new videos and keep the old.

I think you could just keep it on your channel, you have done the writing video and book review in the past so it wouldn't be entirely new to the channel. To emphasise the fact that the channel is becoming a writing channel, you could mention it in your channel banner.

It depends how relevant it is to your other videos, if it is completely different then you will lose some of your audience, so if that is the case then start a new one
