When on Google + and you're changing your name First name "Volkner" and Last name use Alt key + 0173
It should give you an "invisible" nonexistent character for your last name, effectively making it just the first name.


If there is an easier solution to this problem I do not know, but I think there is not.

If you change your account to creator account
you can put one word in there
i really don't recommend the first method that guy talked about

What I did was I created a new channel and I merged my old channel with my old name to my new named channel... Just save your branding
