How to grow you're audience, channel?

My name is Max, and started my first YouTube channel couple days ago. I've looked up some videos on how to grow you're channel but i don't know, just don't get it.
Can you guys give me some tips and trick's if there's any?
Really want this channel to go up because the ideas that stand behind it have a lot of potential. So any tips, recommendations, instructions would be really awesome and helpful.
