How to get this effect? (some kind of profile)

I'm looking for an effect/trick for iMovie to get a similar result as in the pictures below? I would like to create some kind of similar profile in a video of me. Preferably I would like to have some influence how the text enters the video. Thoughts?

Probably not, but that is why I call for help. Maybe somebody knows a creative way around it.

Hey Lennart. Is it i the whole video or is it something just like a photo? I have a feeling that he must have edited it on premier? or maybe after effects. I'm not sure my friend my knowledge about video editing is really dull. Anyways nice to meet a new friend
