I Love YTtalk
For those who spend money on making their YouTube videos which is almost all of us as theres software we need, cameras, props, lighting, backdrops and so on. How much have you spent roughly on making your videos?

For me around £300 on software in total and that's all :D

Gosh...not too much yet...but my budget is gonna get bigger depending on the reception of the channel.

$100 for my crappy camera.
$30 for my crappy a** editing software
$24 for Wal-Mart lamps
$4 for natural light bulbs
$158 total???

Huh...not much at all.

But I'm about to order (eventually):

Noise reducing fleece blankets for my walls = $18x4
Sony digital flash sound recorder = $50
Olympus noise cancelling microphone = $16
Canon EOS Rebel T3 = $480
Studio Lighting kits = $50
Tripod = $20
Adobe Premier Pro = $180

$868 (£555) total? Wow...actually not as much as I thought it'd be.

Since I do gaming stuff, I bought this:

HD PVR: $200
Blue Snowball Mic off eBay: $50
2 TB External hard drive: $75

Everything else I already had before I started my channel, so $325 total.

Not really spent a lot myself.

HD Camera is built into my mobile phone so nothing spent there.
Software not spent anything
Chroma Key material £25

Not to bad I guess

HD PVR = $175
Tritton 720 headset = $130
Feeling of putting my great games on youtube to share with the public = Priceless!!!
:)

If I included my Tritton AX Pro headset, it would go up another 180 bucks, lol. But I had that way before I started the channel.

Well i originally own about 8G's worth in Studio equipment, but for YouTube I've so far spent....

90$ HD Vid Cam
Approx. 50$ for puppet materials
60$ voice recorder.
40 dollars worth of felt for green screening (that I haven't used yet)
.. I think there's more but it's all I can think of at the moment. :/
