How do you make Video Thumbnails?

I actually do mine write in my video editor. I just find an interesting frame and add text titles over it - I can pretty much use any font and stylize and position my text in a variety of ways. Then I just use the built-in screen capture and I get a nice thumbnail. Maybe I'm lazy...

No, that's actually a pretty good idea!! I could theoretically do that too!

If you've got the tools why not use them, right!?

Photoshop CC for me, still frame from Premiere and work on that.

Get the contrast and saturation up by a TONNE (without ruining it) to really make it pop and also try to choose something that is a little different from the video before it.

That way I can avoid the whole scroll past and not pick it up thing.

In theory! :giggle:
