Hi everyone.

I've just set up a channel which I intend to develop into an Audio Visual music blog. In a similar style as Majestic Casual, MrSuicideSheep and The Sound You Need. I just wanted to know, how do these channels avoid constantly getting flagged for copyright? Are they contacting EVERY artist they want to feature on the channel? Or are there specific permissions you need to get?

Thank you!

The 3 examples you gave are each in a network.

The music they use could be licensed directly by the channel, it could be licensed by their network, they could be using it without authorization and it could be 3rd party claimed, or, in the case of MrSuicideSheep, they're more than big enough to where musicians and various artists could be contacting them to use their work.

Mostly user submitted content or network licensing.
