How come when I change a thumbnail, the original still pops up on most links?

Recently I made a video and for some reason the original thumbnail is still popping up on my screen even though I changed the thumbnail 2 days ago... Why is that?

Clear your browser's cache and history for a start

I have found the same. Even weeks/months later. Seems the original is embedded forever.

Its the browser cache.. Try viewing on a different browser or in private mode or tor browser and you'll see the new thumbnail is there. I does change eventually no need to clear browser cache if you don't want to. It is annoying !
