I seem to have issues with Mobile live stream. I did a live stream today, on a wifi connection that I ran speed test right before running the stream and got 50 download, 25mb upload. The video uploaded to youtube as 480p. The same spot, the day before on another channel we did the same video and it was uploaded in 720p.
Ultimately my goal is to get to the highest possible mobile stream. I'm willing to invest in infrastructure if it'll allow me to guarantee 720 or 1080p mobile live streams. I have an iphone7 with gimbal, mics etc.
Does anyone have a different/better device to stream with? There are some broadcasting devices with encoders etc. I'm willing to buy one but it seems reviews are hit and miss. Are there any tactics where I can use two hotspot connection to get more upload speed when not at a wifi location?
