So I upload regularly and due to this new comcast/xfinity thing I am kind of forced to limit my internet usage (1TB). The thing is my videos file sizes are kinda huge. normal 10-15 min videos are 1gb while longer ones can go up to 5gb. I they are 1080p in mp4 format so I don't know what to do now. should I just go back to 720p or what?

any help would be awesome!

2-4 GB. If you want good quality, you're gonna have big files, there's no way around it.

actually there is a way around it, use a program called handbrake (its free) it reduces the file size

And also compresses the video which makes it lose quality, bringing me back to "there's no way around it".

My initial recordings are usually about 10-12gb, and that's about an hour of 1080p60 gameplay.
Then I've got a ~500-600 mb TS3 recording of my group, as well.
After editing, they're usually around ~10 minutes, and about 1-2gb

Yeah, pretty much. If you want quality content, the files will be large. My videos are usually 2-3 minutes long and they range from 700kmb-1gb.
My videos are 1080p 60fps, with some effects added in editing.

I would suggest not to sacrifice quality for quantity!

That's actually really low filesize for 1080p60fps gameplay, you might want to consider increasing your bitrate to get better quality.

checking out the software right now. kinda bummed I'd have to add another process to my workflow. how much does it take a 1gb file to?
