hey guys. Not sure if this is the right place... Should I delete privated content

I am in the process of re branding my channel. I found myself in a never ending spiral of negativity due to not being happy with my content.

So I have been getting involved with my local meet ups. We ended up going to vid con Australia (I loved it and miss it already).

Now the feed back I got from a lot of youtubers I know was that my channel has a negative atmosphere and you can see I was unhappy.

So I went home and Privated every video I was unhappy with. There is very little left. So far my subs have been happy with the change (which is refreshing).

Now I'm wondering if I should actually remove these videos. Are they damaging to my channel to have them hidden? Or does it not matter

I don't think they still have an influence on your channel if they are private. But if you don't intend to ever use the files again, you might as well delete them completely.
