Group chat recording

Hey guys,

What does everyone use for group chat recording?

I use discord with my friends as our means of communication and would love to be able to record us all talking whilst we are playing a game.

I have audacity but from what i have seen you can either record yourself or your team mates but not both?

Anyone any ideas what to use?

It might be worth getting your mates to record their own audio with their own versions of Audacity. It will be a bit fiddly to get in sync but you can use a marker of some sort such as a clap to help line them up. That way there wont be any dropping in quality due to internet speeds and you can equal out the levels later so no one is louder than the others.

strangely enough, i use fraps to record my brothers voice from skype, i use audacity to record my voice, then during skype call and playing the game, i adjust the games audio to a nice level and then hit record and it records his voice, the gameplay and audio and then i just insert my audio and BOOM! easy peasy!
