All my friends are youtubers themselves haha so i'm lucky they aren't camera shy.
I use a Nikon Coolpix S3600, just a digital camera. It's pretty good, I wouldn't want to be carrying a heavy pro camera around all day!
Well my friends are Gaming Youtubers! (I'm too) but i'm the only one vlogging... :)
All I have is my iphone, and my blue snowball mic... :P I think I'm gonna be staying in my room for now! :)

Oh cool :) haha we're the opposite, my friends are all similar to me except one mainly does books.
I used to use my iphone  but then i got this camera as a christmas pressie yayy! Made video quality much better & audio!

Sometimes I talk too loud and because my camera is old, it goes all horrible and awful. I do not need to be louder :')
My tip would be to feel it out for yourself, everyone is different, uses slightly different techniques and they suit us :)

Sounds like a pretty good idea, I usually do the exact opposite when recording and take my earphones out even though I don't record a video of myself while talking because of the type of videos I do. I'll be sure to give keeping them in a try and see how it goes :).

Great! Tell how it goes :)
I'm curious to see if it's only me! :D

This is a great strategy when I made my first vlog I felt really awkward, but for me to keep on topic, I usually have a screen in front of me just in case I forget what I was saying, and I usually edit most of the awkward parts out
