Thanks - yes thats what I have it for. I want to use my DSLR for the majority of my videos, but any outdoor footage will be shot using the GoPro so that I dont have to lug the large DSLR around!
Im really pretty impressed by it to be honest - more video reviews on the accessories coming soon!

Sweet.. I am hoping with my Tax return I can convince my wife that I need it LOL.
 
I've got to the point where companies send me stuff to review - so if I end up buying anything I can tell the wife it was 'provided to me' ;) lol
