Hey all,

I started on this site a couple days ago, and am in love with this community already!

Can anyone perhaps give me advice or point me in the right direction of good hardware or methods to record video game console footage!

Graçias

most common would be the pbr boxes
Just to correct the typo its pvr, and yes the most common recording devices/best you'll find are either the blackmagic, elgato, or the Happauge pvr. I use the Happauge and I have to say I have no complaints, but all are good its just which is in your price range.

I recently got an elgato game capture, costs about $200, and it's really good. You can download the software for free, and it's a really simple interface. It's capable of recording 1080p I think. Just google elgato game capture and check their website for more info :)
