External Annotation to 3rd party website?

I can't really find a clear set of rules on the use of clickable annotations that take you to a website.

1. Are your Facebook and Twitter pages considered personal websites, are you allowed to link them via a redirect?

2. If you have written permission from a company to link to their website from your YouTube video, can you do this if you provide YouTube with the permission?

You can only link to a non-approved website if it is the domain linked to your 'Associated website'.
I'll add a question: Would an iTunes album link be allowed?

Yes. For a list of merch annotations allowed see: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2760471?hl=en

Yeahh you need to link to an associated website. But what I do is I link the annotation to , which is then redirected to my Twitter profile.

Yeah I know how to do that, but you're not technically allowed to do that. I think in a lot of cases YouTube allows it though. I was just wondering how far you can push it. I was planning on putting an affiliate link in an annotation, but I think that would get me in trouble quite fast.

Yeah since then you will be generation revenue from that, which is a different thing.
