Why is it that every time I submit a video that is primarily a song, I get an email from YouTube stating that they need more information? I have provided the information and still have not heard back from them. For one of them, it has been over 3 months. All of the songs in my videos are either a) completely original b) public domain songs or c) parodies of public domain songs, so there should not ANY question about them.

I'm beginning to wonder what it is about my videos that raises the red flag.

Hey man. I used to have the same problem as well, what I recommend is indicating the song/music information in your description like I do

e.g.

Music in this clip by: Kevin Macleod (http://www.incompetech.com)
Song: Quinns Song-The Dance Begins

Even if its a song you made up, just add your name as the owner etc.[DOUBLEPOST=1351685200,1351684956][/DOUBLEPOST]On that note the very first animation I did, it took forever to prove to YouTube that I made it, I sent them project files, sound files, rough drawings, photos of my family to prove that I wasn't a fictitious being!

Thanks. I'll try that.
