Earn money: main reason or side effect?

Earning money would be a great bonus as my channel continues to grow & expand. My main purpose is to show off my (and my friends) creative ability. We're all funny & have a good time together so why not record it & put it on the tube for all to enjoy ya know.

That good question, that is usually answered incorrect. Majority will say they created YouTube channel for fun and as a hobby, but then they will complain about not having any views and 0 profit .
