Does listing the videos you use in a compilation in the description go against TOS? If you need an example go to to Fail Army - "Best Fails of the Week 2 May 2014". ( /watch?v=XY6RHeI6KB8 )

Normally the rule is "if you have to ask if it's against the ToS, then it is against the ToS". However in this case I can't see a problem?

No, there's nothing in the TOS that prevents you from crediting your source publicly in the description.
