Not to quibble, but I did say my offer was politely inflated due to previous bidders. I value my time at a much higher rate than my offer. My clients appreciate the results. The number 42 is not arbitrary, it's literary. And it's roughly 20% higher than the price point quoted in the solicitation.
Can we get this straight....You want him to pay you $42 (REAL MONEY), for a small banner?, not 42ForumCash ?

An art dealer once let me in on a secret of the universe. Priceless things are only as valuable as the very cost at which they are purchased. If you sell "The Persistence of Memory" for one dollar, it is worth as much.

the price in the "solicitation" was 35 Yttalk cash, meaning your price is still moot

If you are going to make up a monetary system, don't call it by same the moniker as cash. Name it something like "Dried Leaves." I'm usually not one to defend capitalism, but I am one to defend artists from undervaluing their time.
