Does a YouTube Red membership improve your rankings as a creator?

I'm considering a YouTube Red membership to remove ads from my YT experience, but has anyone out there heard of a correlation between an account with YouTube Red membership and better rankings for that creator's videos?

Ie: if a channel owner has a YouTube Red membership, will that channel's videos perform better in search and recommendations?

I've not found anything to suggest one way or the other, was interested if anyone had any insights to share.

I don't think it does. I'm sure that if they claimed it would, everyone would sign up!

That would be cool if YouTube did that. Maybe randomly pick various channels and advertise them for a week/month.

No, not at all. Red is for viewers, it doesn't give any benefit to creators.
