Do you use monetization?

As the titles applies, do you use monetization on your videos?

I did myself, through YouTube only (No network), and to be honest, it wasn't worth it for me. The YouTube Adsense CPM was so much lower than on my website (That uses Adsense aswell). My channel is small and I am all about giving my viewers the best experience. Giving them commercials is not a nice thing to do when I'm not big and not even making $2 a month.

So, do you use monetization and why?

I'm the same as you. I am approved for monetization and have it all set up on my account but decided to turn it off while I'm still growing. I can live without the extra $1 a month or whatever and I don't want to p**s my subs off ^^

Im going to once RPM finishes the final part of my contract. Why I (Will) monetize my videos... hmm well mostly becaus I want to get a small income just to pay for like website hosting on my website, also to buy new games to play on my channel (I mostly play pokemon) But like games that are new and you usally can't get so easy when trying to get 4 free. So you that's it

I don't because I'm classy like that and I don't want to put off viewers for negligible monetary gain.

I use monetize(through network). Mostly because i need that income to buy all those games.

It does mean horny in german aswell, but is now used as an expression for something awesome in german instead ;-)

I turned got the partnership (with youtube) but only for the custom thumbnails rather than monetization. Gonna focus on building an audience way before monetizing.

I have - every video is monetized (direct with YouTube).
Im at the point where I have a payout every month, and I'm luckily making a pretty decent amount - nothing to live off of, but enough to pay for some of my gadgets!!

Every month is a nice thing yea. I don't know what the earning cap is before getting paid outside of Denmark, but I need to earn 600DKK, which is around $106 each month, there's really a long way to go for me.
