Do I still get notifications for comments people make on my videos that don't need my approval first before they are shown publically?

I got a few notifications with comments that weren't public because they were likely spam.
If there is an even number I always take half of the advert comments because the more comments I have the more good towards my channel but I don't want to many adverts.

So you only get notifications for comments that are likely to be spam? not all the comments made on your channel's videos?

No I get nots for most of my comments.
